I will be full-timing in the near future, and I am starting to get everything together. At the moment, I have a verizon card for my laptop that has been working just find, but now i was wondering if I need to purchase a second card for my wife's laptop. In our house we have DSL, with a router, so both laptops work just find. And when we travel, we only take my laptop, thats why we only needed one card. But now since we are going full-time, we would like to use both in the M/H. Any info would be very appreciated.

Probably cheaper to go satellite and run a wireless router than to buy 2 Verizon air cards.

I have seen some info on a different forum telling about using a piece of equipment for a Verizon card & a wireless router so you can use 2 Laptops on it.
Verizon does not sell this stuff so they tell you it can not be done..... but it can. just keep looking. If I can find the post, I'll add it to this Post.

It's quite simple, use your Verizon card in a router designed for it. We've been doing it for 2 years. It works great.

I wouldn't know about a Windows PC, but if one or both of your laptops are Macintoshes, you can set up the one with your Verizon card in it as a WiFi hotspot for the other. Just click on the Airport icon in the menu bar and select "create network". It will create a new WiFi network that is routed through your Verizon internet connection.

You can stick your Verizon card in this Linksys wireless router and share the connection across your network. I haven't tried it, but it seem straight forward. There's list of compatible cards on that page too.

Check out 3G Store. Click on the model card you have for recommendations to fit your card. I have experienced how well the Kyocera KR2 EVDO Router works. It's on my list after current contract is up.

We have an aircard plugged into a Kyocera wireless router which allows us to share the internet connection between our two laptops. You can buy a wireless router anywher - Amazon, best buy, circuit city etc.
