Even if you could find a 20" LCD 12 volt powered TV it would probably not run off this outlet. The inverter only takes about 10% of the power. If you can power anything over a few amps at this outlet it is just because it happens to be very close to the DC distribution panel.

The 12 volt outlet you are using is no where near heavy duty enough to run a television via an inverter.. Perhaps a 5" 12 volt.. Perhaps. But a real television and an inverter no way

Mount the inverter near the batteries, but not in the same air space, put a proper fused line of sufficent size to the inverter (unless i'ts a inverter in a plug type) and run 120 volt cord to the TV
