This is a very important point. If the former is the case, you need to register your RV in Colorado. If the latter, then, as others have stated, there are lots of other things to look at than just registration fees.
South Dakota, Texas, and Florida are the most popular state for fulltime RVers to claim as domiciles, so you might start your search there.

McCall...we are going up manana to check out all the stores, etc. We should close escrow in a couple of weeks and be in before the snows get serious
