Seeing Alaska- The glaciers were a sight I will never ever forget seeing. So blue! All of alaska (the parts I saw anyway) were breathtakingly beautiful. The flowers (in fairbanks) were bigger than any flowers I have ever seen, full of blooms and brilliant colors.

I like the view from the top of Yosemite Falls is even better than the view from Glacier point. the view from the top of Half Dome is pretty good as well. Same for the top of Mt. Whitney.
The best I have encountered was the summer I took a walk to the top of the ski area, Cyrstal Mountain, WA. I did not realize that Mt. Ranier was on the other side. What a surprise.
I also enjoyed the Hoo Doos just west of Green River in UT on I70.

Mine was coming around the point of lower Manhattan in my boat, and there she was, right in front of me....The Statue of Liberty....an Awesome sight.

the vista thru Mesa Arch in the canyonlands. I took some 3-D pictures thru it and years later saw essentially the same shot used in a Nikon Ad.
