I'm fine on mechanical stuff, but a dummy on electrical stuff.
I have a 2004 Rage'n 24 ft. toyhauler (made by National). I have a 30 amp outlet by the storage pad where we park the trailer by the house. The trailer was plugged in to charge the batteries (which I do every two weeks to keep them fresh). We had a lighting strike which knocked out the circuit board in the washer, zapped one of my garage door openers & the low speed in a ceiling fan in our house. When I went out to check the trailer all of the lights worked and everything seemed to be OK. I unplugged the trailer. Two weeks later I went back out, plugged in the trailer and it was hot so I kicked on the A/C. Nothing. I looked at the radio and the lights were on, but no LDC & no sound. When I turned on the refridgerator the inside light came on and immediately went out and the fridge went straight to "check". I'm thinking lightning knocked out the converter but the range hood works, the micro works. I unhooked the batteries and all of the inside & outside lights work. I have checked every fuse that I can find, none were popped. No circuit breakers were tripped, nor was the EFI popped. That's about the extent of my electrical knowledge... so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any help,

If the lights work with the batteries disconnected, the converter is fine.
The lightning may have damaged the A/C, refrigerator and radio. Refrigerator controls are sensitive to high voltages, and all three have stuff on the roof.

Lightning fried a circuit board in my AC which also controlled the furnace. Drop the ceiling vent of your AC to expose the circuit board. Usually there is a plug-in flat auto fuse on the board. Check it and replace if nec. If AC still doesnt run and if the furnace doesnt run either, you might need a new ciruit board. Got mine from the dealer who had a spare- cost me $125. Converter and everything else electrical in my 5er worked OK.

Not only the converter (Check your battery voltage) but every bit of 120 volt electronics too.. The lights work off the battery
