We live really nearby and thought we'd spend one night there with our granddaughter. People are nice, campground is not much at all. The sites are pretty dismal and most of the sites are filled with out of the area workers. The campground needs a lot of work and pretty junky around the owner's home, which is near the office.

I am currently staying at Misty Mountain, it is in Crozet, a few miles west of Charlottesville. It is neat, clean, with a good staff. If you need to be near Charlottesville, this might do. It is about 10 miles from the south entrance to the Skyline Dr. Kathy
