Why would you even think of staying there?
If that is the attitude of the management, you can well imagine the snobbish attitude of the residents!

I have never understood why a twenty year old car is a classic and a ten year old Rv is junk!

Just look around. Some parks have this rule, but it certainly isn't common. I've only run into it twice.

If one is to believe the search engines (3 hits on Yahoo! and 2 on Google), the "National Association of Campgrounds" is a very small operation.

I want to develop a real nice campground and require all RVs are to be at least 10 years old.
Now that would be some real fun.

That is a great idea! Just think of all the Classics you would see!

And think how snobs would feel when turned away because their RV was too new! You could say, "Sorry, we are leery that drivers of new RVs are not experienced enough to handle driving without incident"
Though that isn't true either, it makes just about as much sense...
Go on down the road and stay with people who welcome you, bag and baggage.

Must be Eastern thing. Driving 36 years old conversion I don't recall ever be asked about its age at the registration. Don't even recall I had to mention it is Prevost.

I'd question the no exception response, call back and speak with a manager/owner. Many private parks out west require inspection of older RV's. I've seen some lovely refurbished buses and coaches at these parks. The no exception policy probably means they have the park up for sale, and they are trying to make it picture perfect for the buyer.

A lot of these places better start thinking twice if they want to stay in business. Pretty soon that's all you're going to see is 10 year old units if the economy doesn't get back on track. What will they say then?

Keep your trailer.
Find another campground, one that is NOT a member of whatever organization that one was.

its becoming more common in some areas, and has gained acceptance in those areas... as long as that continues it will grow more and faster... they are not concerned if you go down the road as they do quite well without us so far...

boycott??? a bunch of people they don't want refusing to go there... how's that going to work???

the class A's only are a outgrowth of the ten year rule... other rules are a outgrowth of the 10 year rule also, such as minimum sizes, no soft sides...

COMING TO A AREA NEAR YOU... MAYBE...
