Do any of you own this rig and what do you like and dislike about it? Any major problems with Gulfstream?

Are you reading recent posts from Gulf Stream owners?
I would stay away from Gulf Stream and Four Winds, at any price.
There is no perfect RV out there. They all will get complaints by someone. But body and structural complaints are most concerning.
Water infilteration is any RV's doom.

We have a 2005 Gulf Stream Cavalier 29.5. We love it. No problems that I would consider abnormal. Been a great unit.

I had a GS6211 - a 2007 model - for nearly 2 years before trading in June for a new Four Winds 5000.
Only had the GS in the shop once for a warranty issue. Otherwise, no problems at all.
And so far the Four Winds has been great.
I did hear a lot of negative things about GS before I purchased it 2 years ago. After owning it didn't really understand the complaints. You get what you paid for. My Four Winds was more $$$ and is a nicer coach. But it ain't perfect. But I certainly have no reason to complain about it.
And I am convinced that the dealer you buy it from - and take it to for service - will make a BIG difference in your overall experience.
