I'd want you to continue as moderator, as long as you enjoy it. Your experience can make you a better moderator, than a new one, who is still very active.

After all if you buy a pu' and truck camper, you still are a RV'ing. Perhaps more of a "camper" than some in MH or even me in a 23 Ft Class A, though to me camping is more of a state of mind, than how you do your version. I'm too old and not in any physical condition to cross country, but it would be interesting to hear of your experiences.

Then you will have to check out the truck camper forums more often. We FT in our truck camper, sometimes a little tight but still doable as we are rarely in it. It is probably the most maneuverable of most RVs and great fun.

Dianne,

I too want to wish you and yours well. Your kindness and insights have really been both a great help and an inspiration to many of us. I have always made it a point to read any of your thread posts, so keep them coming.

Idaho sounds fun!

Please, please, please do not give up your moderating job if at all possible. Have followed yours and Firedudes adventures since joining the forum and have enjoyed and learned a lot from you. I fully understand your reasoning for going the route your taking since our plans have been put on temporary hold due to Dianes mothers health. I'm pretty sure that one day you'll probably be back "on the road" again but until then good luck to you and Terry in your new undertakings. I must say that you couldn'd have found a more beautiful area to set down roots. Lived 5 months one year and 9 the next in Idaho and travelled extensively through the lower half of the state and love it. Good luck and happy travels. Definitly hope you're able to make it to Alaska. It's an adventure everyone should have the opportunity to do in their lifetime.

Thank you one and all

Yes, we will miss the road, we already do, even tho we are still on it. The logistics are a bit daunting, especially in the current economic situation. We are moving to the mountains at the worst time of year, but we are resilient, so will make it. Hopefully we will be in before the heavy snows pile up

We have already made friends in the area and they are a wealth of info, which we are taking to heart. My Mom is so excited she is ready to dump her house and move right up All of this is a whole new thread, which I will get onto, as soon as I get my head around it....
