My wife and I are planning to spend some time (Oct 16 - 20) at Hillman Ferry Campground at Land Between the Lakes area. Any suggestions on which camp sites are the best for a lake view. We would prefer full hook-up, but could settle for just electric if it is an awesome site.

Thanks for the information.

Hillman's has very few lakefront sites - none of them are reservable. The most are in section C1, #11,16,19 are the best. These are right across the street from the bathhouse. The absolutely best IMHO, is #40, in the C3 section. It is fairly isolated, level with the lake and large but about a block from the restrooms, no showers. If you are there when shade is not important, as in late Oct., C# #36 & 38 (38 is best) are on the bluff with a wonderful 360 view of water. Both sites are small but 38's door side is the view side. The sites that are reservable also have FHU and some are pull-thrus but no water view at all. If I can help with any more info, PM me. You are in our stompin' grounds there!!
