Hi Folks. Can anyone recommend a nice RV park, preferably on the beach, in Sayulita. Beach camping is acceptable, services would be nice but not required. Location and security is more important than cost. We are functional but not fluent in Spanish.
Thanks in advance.

I hope some one else knows better than I do, but i do not remember an RV park on the beach here. Great place for breakfast is Rollies. Just curious, why have you picked this town over say Guayabitos or La Pentinta just to the North.

We were there last year. Your Fleetwood won't get into Sayulita, I can tell you that much. There were only three campgrounds, one for tents, one that had an arch at the entrance with a clearance of maybe 10 feet and we stayed at Sayulita Trailer Park (& Bungalows). Great place, nearly everyone in Sayulita speaks english, it was actually hard to find someone to practise Spanish with. Thies & Cristina run a very nice RV park. If you are going before Christmas season you should be able to get a spot, but after that they are usually all booked. I can PM you contact info if needed.

Hi and thanks for the replys. We will be taking our little 22 foot rig and not the Revolution. There are a few reasons we are heading there including meeting up with someone. Nothing is set in stone but this is a possibility. I would be interested in other suggestions in this area including other towns etc. Although we will be arriving before Christmas we probably won't be leaving until after. We are not the types for reservations and tend to wing it. Our rig is small and typically we have found it easy to squeeze in somewhere. We hope to leave more fluent than we arrive.

If you get a chance come on over to La Penita RV Resort. About 25 miles or so north of Sayulita. Market is on Thursday and is one of the better markets in the area. Large, culturally divergent, beautiful crafts from all over the west coast of Mexico and the mountains. Also, did I mention great food. Have fun in Sayulita. One of my favorite places to spend a day. If you decide to come before Christmas you might be able to get a spot. Email Carol at lapenitarvpark.com for reservations. Lindy

Thanks for the info on LaPenita. We will most certainly stop in there to check it out. Keep an eye out for our little Vanguard you can see on our website in our signature block. We'll be in around Christmas.
Thanks again.\
