For the last 2 1/2 weeks I have been sick with a sinus infection, bronchitis and pneumonia. Finally today, I am starting to feel better. Doctor gave me until tomorrow, then I was off to the hospital. I probably should not have been so stuborn and went earlier, but I couldn't stand the thought of being there.

Thank goodness I started to get better.

Hope you all are feeling good and enjoying this fall weather.

I can relate. I had been treated for acute asthma for months before I finally decided I was really sick and needed to go to the hospital. That's when the heart failure was discovered. I was just a few days away from my death bed, literally. Glad you're feeling better. Next time don't wait so long!

Hey, I've gone to many hospitals... I can tell you though it's much nicer going in the visitor's entrance and visiting the sandwich bar than using the EMERGENCY enterance (been there a few times too). Henry Ford Hospital in Downtown Detroit has some real nice food service places on the main concourse.

Hi neighbor! Sure glad you are feeling better and missed out on a hospital stay. That's not the place to get any rest, as you know.

Please take care of yourself, remember that in stressful times our immune systems do wacky things.

After being a nurse for 30 some years, I can tell you that all of the above is correct. One of many reasons I DID NOT want to be a patient. We nurses make very bad patients.

Thanks for the get wells. I am really feeling better tonight! Even cooked some dinner. Didn't taste good, but I did cook.

Now, stay away from people, have someone else do the shopping or have it delivered. Pneumonia is nothing to full with as you know.
Just lost a neighbor, 45, started feeling better so went shopping and visiting friends. Dead 2 weeks lated after a second bout.

Baby yourself, and don't forget to wake yourself up every two hours.
Oh, and another good reason to NOT go to the hospital, everyone there is SICK
