Camping World located in Hamburg NY just announced that they are closing. Staff is already down to a skeleton crew. All trailers & RV's will be gone within a few weeks, & most likely even sooner than that. It was their largest facility in NY state. I bought my TT there last May. Another sign of the times.

Best Buy RV which was located in my hometown and also in Springfield Ohio had boasted of the largest indoor showroom in the U.S. (3 acres) closed their door this week. Looking at the web site (clickable above) they leave the impression they might return. It is sad as they were a very good dealership.

WOW...thats sad news to hear. Our dealerships down here seem to be still going strong and there are many dealerships near where I live. I don't really know how their doing it, but they are hanging in there somehow.

That is a shame. That was the closest location to where I live. I was planning a trip out there to buy a cover.

The dealer we bought our jayco 26bh (Haus of Trailers) was just absorbed by General RV. Tis a shame because one of the reasons we bought from a small family dealer was the super service and low pressure....We tried to buy from general rv but had issues trying to find a used TT without H2O damage. (although I loved the Sunline they showed me!!)

The dealer where I bought my first motorhome went out of business a few months ago. It's such a shame.

CW retail stores are a ripoff unless you buy a closeout item and then you still have to join the "club" to get it cheaper. That concept is going the same direction as the dinosaur. Internet RV items are much cheaper even with the shipping. If you order something from CW you still have to pay shipping on top of their high retail prices.

I received a card yesterday that CW is "relocating" their Snellville, GA store (metro Atlanta) to Byron, GA, about 70 miles away. The one at Byron has been there a while so the relocation is a marketing tool. They still have other stores in GA but to far to drive for me.
