We removed the false front on the jack-knife sofa and put two pull out drawers in there. No more standing on my head, holding up the sofa trying to reach something stored under there...love it! We also put a swing up top on the inside step while we were redoing the floors. It makes a great place to put awning tie downs, bug spray, etc......Betty

First thing I will point out from experience is with the Command strips. Be careful about putting them on the wallpaper anywhere. If it gets warm during the day, if there is even a little bit of weight (like a small framed picture) on it, it will start to pull the wall covering away and make a small bubble.
My real tip though is to take care of some of my set up items. I bought two five gallon buckets, a red one adn a white one. The red one is for electrical parts and cords (the power cords roll nicely inside the bucket and leaves room for the miscellaneous electrical adapters and extension cords. I use the white one for freshwater hoses (again, these roll up nicely inside the bucket), nozzles, filters and connectors. The buckets can also be used when needed around the site.
For those who might wonder, hoses that are associated with the black tank DO NOT GO IN THIS BUCKET. They are kept totally separate from the freshwater bucket and parts.

We seldom go on a trip that doesn't include one or two of our grandkids and sometimes our son tags along as well. (If it's a fishing trip!) The kids usually show up with a suitcase filled with their clothes and other essentials. That's not a bad thing but when they're living out of a suitcase, all trip long we're tripping over the things. We solved the suitcase problem by using the space under our sofa. Our sofa has a long door that folds down to provide access to the area under the sofa. First we took accurate measurements of the area, then we went to Wally World and checked out their plastic containers. We were able to get four flat rectangular boxes with snap on lids that are a perfect fit in the sofa space. Now our guests spare clothes are repacked into the plastic boxes BEFORE we leave on the trip so there's no more tripping over the suitcases. Also, the boxes are a lot easier to access than fiddling around with suitcases!

Took out the pantry slide with it's little wire baskets and replaced it with 5 full slide drawers.

Did you build those drawers yourself or buy them like that? Very cool!

My jacknife sofa has the whole front underneath fold down. I presume the idea was for golf clubs or fishing poles but I keep an EZ-Up awning under there. Great place for a bulky item.

One little thing that we did, was to get one of those suction-cup soap holders for a shower, and use it as the TV remote holder in the bedroom. I just stuck in on the mirror next to the bed. Holds my glasses too!

Plastic bins are one of man's greatest inventions! What would we do without them.....ok, cardboard boxes, but they aren't as nice!

I also like the little plastic drawers that go under the galley table, for cards, pencils, etc.

Liked the idea of extending the drawers! Thanks!

I have had lousy luck with suction cup holders. They keep coming off and then the contents get dumped everywhere.

I built them. The sides are 1/2" stock with a dado around the bottom to hold 1/8" hardboard bottoms. The slides are 22" full support RV type. They have an automatic plastic lock to prevent movement when closed.

Strapping my kids to the luggage rack on top of the RV has saved me grey hairs. They like it up there too, but complain about the bungie cords being alittle too tight.
