My dgd loves Spam. Usually have a can with us. We fry it, serve as a sandwich with lettuce, tomato and onion... just like a hamburger. Just recently, I purchased Spam Lite with 50% less fat, 25% less sodium. It's probably no worse for your health than beef.

All right you guys! Give spam a break, it kept the troops going in WW ll across Europe fighting for your freedom. I ate spam in the Navy and it's not so bad. In fact they have a spam fair back east some where, a spam queen and the whole nine yards. With out the invention of spam, just think of how much the pig they would throw away. Why not feed it to us. LOL

Spam has saved my life a time or two!!!! Really, you can buy an individual serving size in a foil pouch. I carry about 6 pouches with me when I travel on mission trips to Honduras, Nicaragua and now Belize. They pack well in a backpack and are easy to eat. There have been a couple of times it was all I had to eat for lunch or supper. Spam gets my vote........
