I like Spam wrapped in bacon.
Lord, grant me the senility to not recognize the people I don't like, the good fortune to run into the ones I do, and the eyesight to tell the difference

I've never bothered to get fancy with it but fried spam sandwich on toast with spicy mustard is a fine camping breakfast food.

"Spam is celebrated in a small local festival in Austin, Minnesota, where Hormel corporate headquarters are located. The event, known as Spam Jam, is a carnival-type celebration which coincides with local Fourth of July festivities, featuring parades and fireworks which often relate to the popular luncheon meat. Austin is also home to the Spam Museum, and the plant that produces Spam for most of North America and Europe.
Hawaii also holds their own version of Spam Jam in Waikiki during the last week of April.
The small town of Shady Cove, Oregon is home to the annual Spam Parade and Festival, celebrating its 8th year in 2007."

We stopped in Austin MN a few years ago and visited Spam Museumand found it interesting. Seems no one admits to eating Spam but they manage to sell countless millions of cans of the stuff annually. My only beef with the visit was you can buy Spam at WalMart cheaper than you can in the Spam gift shop. ...Another thing I was a little concerned about was there was about 100 horse trailers, or so, parked across the street from the plant where it is made.... All were empty.
