Great picture. I hope you continue to enjoy your coach and especially the family with the coach. After a year and over 21,000 miles, we enjoy ours more with every trip.

Long time reader first time poster. My wife and I have been camping for years in our Travel Trailers and the set up has work great for us up until recently. We only had one child. Recently 3 months ago my wife give birth to two healthy beautiful twins (boy and girl). The truck and trailer set up even with a crew cab we realized unless the trip was short (less than one hour) it would start to takes it toll on us.
We have been looking at the super nova 6400 since it inception almost two years ago when it was in the design phases. I saw the coach at the Tampa super RV show and fell in love with it, but at the time the almost $200K price tag was a bit much.
Because of the "ecomonic crisis" it was almost a blessing in disgue for us, since the general public stop buying high ticket items they have come down tremdously in price. I was able to purchase my new super nova for 40% below list price which made it within our means.
This is my first motorhome, I have owned. The set-up is awsome, especially for a young family (Wife and I are in our early to mid thirties). We converted the bottom bunk to a crib for the twins very easily by putting up crib bedding all the way around and using a toddler bed rail for the front. Our 8 year old daughter claimed the overhead bunk, and the wife and I love the king bed. The u-shaped dinette is also nice as it can set 6 full size adults. We like the fact that we do not have break anything down to sleep which is the way we like to camp.
I have been reading many sites about the coach, and after our madien voyage we had a usual laundry list of warranty issues. Gulf Stream was on top of it and resolving those issue.
The major issue was the leak, but after talking with the regional warranty guy from Gulf Stream they know what the problem is and have a fix. Apparently on some of the earlier models, the sealant used to connect the roof to the side walls was sold as paintable which in fact it was not. This seal is right at the radius of the roof where it connects to the wall. It was painted black which caused it to expand and contract resulting in the sealant cracking. Super nova owners, be sure to check your roof line.
As far as the other issues, nothing major (hot and cold water line in sink were reversed, and other minor issues I could have fixed myself but I will let them do it.
We are so excited about using this unit, but as it was stated in previous post it does draw a lot of attention. Pulling into the campground I felt like a rock star. Almost everybody passing by had to stop, look and inquire within. From small pop up campers to tag axle buses. My wife and I are people persons and like the conversation.
Although one thing I did notice being in my 30's there was a little anomisity with the older RV'ers, and I believe it was due to our age and maybe a little jealousy. But for the most part young or life expierenced (retiree's) people in general were happy for us.
One of the reasons my wife and I enjoy RV'ing is the friendliness of fellow RV'ers.
Looking foward to hearing from other super nova owners.
