For the first time, well have the coach in freezing weather (December in Maine) and I'm on my first winterizing mission. So far I have two problems I can't quite figure out. The pictures in the manual don't match the coach. There are only 2 models of 2008 Itasca Meridien, it's not like they have to cover dozens of rigs with one book.

Below are pictures from the manual in black and white, and the actual rig in color. First, the drains. The manual shows three drain lines, and one clear pink stuff tube. All I have is a pink stuff tube.

Same with the drain for the icemaker. They show it being the BOTTOM of the unit, but on mine, it just looks like wires going that way, and the water inlet is the thin white line on the right.

Two questions:
Is it really the bottom one? Otherwise, where does the water go?
Can I winterize the icemaker without running a cycle of pink stuff thru it?

Anybody have any helpful ideas out there? Thanks in advance.

PS The images didn't load here, but they are at herethis link under "ignore this post".

At least on your ice maker all you have to do is drain the line ....the ice maker portion is designed to freeze....run pink stuff up to your shut off valve.

Are you going to be living aboard in Maine or storing? We live aboard our coach in temperatures into the teens with no special provisions (never leave a hose of any sort out, make sure we have plenty of propane for the furnace and a light bulb in the wet utility bay for REALLY cold nights.

For storage we drain everything and run pink through all the lines. It do get cold in these parts. Can't help with diagram. I just connect a fitting to the vacuum side of the pump and run a hose into the bottle of pink from there. Be sure to drain and bypass the water heater first.
