This is in conjunction with SingleAction's question on proper tire inflation. Has anyone ever had these Tire Pressure Monitor's installed? I figure that once you have the right tire pressure, it would be nice to see if it's bleeding off. Any early warning system in my opinion is a good idea. Any thoughts?

Many rvers have Pressure Pro systems. We monitor 14 tires with one and think it is a "must have" for our situation. There have been many posts on this forum over the years on TPMS in general and Pressure Pro in specific, so do a search for more info.

If they are the same as the type in my 2007 Yukon XL- they are a PITA. The shop has retrained them for the last time- next time they fail install new or get rid of them.

You can install the Pressure Pro System yourself. Very simple instructions and if you order from Pat and Mike Mcfall and have a problem they are just a phone call or e-mail away. I highly recomend the Pressure Pro System. The system will save you lots of money and you will feel more secure knowing you have instant pressure of each tire at a touch of a button. Take a look at this site www.PressureProsystem.com and it should give you a better understanding of the system. GBY....

Do a search on Pressure Pro. Haven't seen a post against them. We love ours.

I use the Pressure Pro system. I had the rubber valve stems on the trailer replaced with short metal ones to avoid problems. The sending pressure units weigh around 0.5 ounce each and had the wheels and tires balanced with the unit installed. They have good range and only monitor pressure. I like the system.

I have pressure pro and so far I have had problems with the monitor and the sensors on the rear. I bought it June of 2007. I have already sent mine in for repair once but as soon as I reprogrammed it after repair, it started acting up again. It doesn't read sensors on the rear tires or displays the incorrect pressures, even if I hold my monitor out the drivers side door with the rear wheels only being back about 25 feet

I just emailed Doug from PP and let him know I am not happy with my current system. He was extremely helpful before. I am sure if they gave me a new monitor with new sensors it would fix my problem and I would be a very happy camper.

This would be the second time I have had to pay to ship and insure this productto go back to PP for repair/replacement/software upgrade. I already paid $500 just for the product.

I will say that the front tires always read the correct pressures and Doug from PP has been absolutely great as far as emailing me or calling me to make sure the repair process went smoothly. The customer service has been really good. I may change my tune when he emails me back this next week to let me know how they are going to fix my system.

I still believe in the product but if they can't get me set up so that is works as advertised I am going to seek alternatives.

Good information. It sounds like all the bugs are not totally worked out of the system.

Pat, I'm assuming you're affiliated with the company, what's your suggestion for a standard pickup with a truck camper? Are 'repeaters' required for such a basic application? Do you think it's worth it for this application? Will it cover the occasional UTV or boat trailer with 2 tires, and how efficiently? (aren't you glad you chimed in?)

Thanks for your help!
