Fla-Gypsy is correct... if your problem isn't with the controller, than you may be upgrading for naught, and you'll still have the original problem.

The plug on the back of the Prodigy was different than the plug on the back of the Voyager. Obviously, the firewall plug was the same. The correct pigtail for my Prodigy only cost about $14, and I ordered it with the Prodigy. The Prodigy also has a completely different mounting sysyem and bracket than the Voyager. But it's still a VERY simple job!

I have heard a lot about the new P-3 link below.

P-3 brake control

I have the P3... the display is more informative than the Prodigy I had on my previous pickup... also easier to read as you can control the colour, brightness, etc.

Eh!

Just a thought: The Voyager is generally an EXTREMELY reliable, though not the smoothest, braking system. Are you SURE it's the controller not a problem with your brakes? If you just blindly replace the controller and find a loose wire or adjustment problem with the trailer brakes you'll STILL need to fix the brakes. Good luck / Skip

When I bought my 2005 Springdale TT, they installed a Voyager braking system. I've had it less than a year and it has already quit working. Can anybody suggest a good electric braking system that's easy to install myself?

bobbie you say it's quit working.

if that's true then the new P3 would be the way to go.

however if you just think it's the voyager I would have it checked out

Like I say if you have already had it checked or you tested it and

know it's bad then a P3 is the way to go.

I have a voyager it's 8 years old and worked on 4 different trailers.

Wow 4 trailers in 8 years someone stop me....
