Never been to Iowa. If I ever make it, I plan to visit the "Field of Dreams" ballpark. . . last I heard it was still there. Wonder how long they'll keep it up now that the movie is getting farther and farther in the past.

 Oh yes, a good time was had by all.
It was kinda bittersweet though. It was the last trip out this year because Garland is all "booked up" for several more week-ends.

Actually, we found out rather by accident that we were near a "famous" area close to Des Moines, that being Madison county and all those covered bridges from the movie "The Bridges of Madison County".
A chick flick for sure, but since we were there anyway we went and saw most of them.
