I need to drop my gray tank. But I don't know how the pipe is coming in from the top or how to unhook it from the top side. I have the pipe unhooked that goes to the valve and one side hanger loose but don't want to try to drop it till I know whats on top of this thing and if I am going to damage my pipe up top coming into it. It is leaking and I need to see were it is coming from. Need help

If you are talking about the gray input pipe it probably has a heat welded connection that often requires access from above. Most vent pipes just go through a rubber seal washer on the top of the tank, or are caulked in place so they can drop straight down. Your washer has probably split or caulk allowing splash..hopefully no cracks. The key is whether it only leaks in motion or near full, or anytime you run water to the tank. You may need a new seal going back in ..Brian

wel i though it was leaking from a clamp they had on the tank nozzel coming out from the tank to hook to the abs pipe that goes to the release valve. Put a new clamp on put water in and as it got full it started leaking again but coming from top of this nozzel that is sticking out from the tank to hook drain pipe too.

I assume your tank is ABS black plastic??? If so in non pressure environments a lot of people have had good luck with either Eternabond rubber roof repair tape or JB Plastic Weld. However, that is only what I've read here, so I'll defer to those that have actually done it successfully. Maybe this bump will help get some responses......Brian

well it might have been black at one time it looks gray and my black water tank is white. This thing is 1989 model Skamper TT. But thanks for the help like i said if i ever get it out might be able to fix it. One side of the brackets that hold the tank up are at the wheel well and it hooks over the frame so the camper is sitting down on it. It won't slide out of the way to let the tank down the other side slides out of the way fine.

Still not sure how this is hooking into the top of the tank input line. Have sink drain going into floor. See bathtub drain going into floor in wall. Not sure if both meet and hook togeather then go into tank or if their is two holes in top for each one.Only way to get to the top is through the floor means cutting up floor not worth that. Better off to hook them both togeather and back to the drain line and not have a gray tank. I guess

If it's white, it's probably PE (poly-ethylene) NOT ABS

I have discovered most box hardware stores, such as Home Depot, have several different rubber (type) connectors. They may be stright connectors, 90-degree, a different size on each end, or? They use hose clamps, and do not have to be in perfect alignment. If you are working on any part of your plumbing, you should go to the plumbing department, and see what is available.
