This is the second time I've wired the diodes into a vehicle. The first was a 2000 S-10 and I never had a single problem. I just wired the diodes into a 2006 GMC Canyon & the wiring seemed fairly simple. When I was finished, I pulled up behind the motorhome & hook-up but nothing would work. Checked the power from the motorhome & it was ok. Reconnected the ground at the rear of the canyon & still nothing. My father-in-law suggested pulling the fuse to the turn signals in the canyon. I did that & they worked. I put the fuse back in & everything worked, turn signals, brakes, running lights. Hooked up the hitch & took it for about 5 miles (my wife followed in another vehicle). Everything worked great. That was about a week ago. Hooked up this morning, to run over to Columbus for some service work...nothing, no brake lights, no turn signals, nada. Pulled the turn signal fuse thinking it might magically work but still nothing. Put the fuse back in & still nothing. Didn't have time to mess with it, so the wife just drove it over behind me. Anyone have any good suggestions on what the problem could be? This forum has been a great help to me in the past & hopefully someone will know how to solve this.

This is why we install second bulb/separate wiring system only. Diodes are nice when they work but, they are a little finicky

You have it wired incorrectly.
Start by identifying lighting.
MH does it have amber turn signals? Does it have red turn signals?
Does the Canyon have amber turn signals?
If amber on Canyon and red on MH are you trying to light up ambers? Wrong! Wire the Canyon for red turn signals using brake light filament.
Go to "Roadmasterinc.com" under support find wiring diagrams for lights. Odds are you are missing a diode and is back-feeding.

No. The canyon has red & the motorhome has red. I wired yellow into yellow, green to green and brown to brown on both sides. The lady at the roadmaster dealer ask the same thing and sent me the package she said I needed (four diodes). Standard four wire harness from my motorhome all the way back to the rear of the canyon. It was working just fine before. I have the magnetic lights, in case I need them, but just don't like them as much as the regular taillights.

If as you say, everything worked and now it doesn't I would suspect a bad connection somewhere. Start by double checking all the ground connections. Since all lights are out that is most likely. You could connect a temporary jumper ground between the two vehicles to check.

Sure does sound like a ground issue. Did you tie the ground into the body in the rear or is it connected to the Canyon's battery ground?
Four diodes is correct. Did you run the jumper between the tail-lights or does the tail-lights have a single wire?

I grounded at the rear of the canyon, but I didn't "clean" the metal. I'll clean it up tomorrow & see if it makes a difference. I ran the brown taillight wire from the left to the right taillight, if that is the jumper wire you are referring to. Thanks for the help.

Need to find better ground. Try to locate a ground screw wiring connection in rear or drop ground off in front and tie to ground system of Canyon.

As a follow-up, I cleaned the metal where I connected the ground & the lights worked fine. Thanks for the responses.
