Anyone see that Provan Industries has a new model next to the Tiger CX? The Bengal Tiger, suppose to increase the interior height 6'4. Looking forward to see what the pictures look like, they're suppose to be up when the first unit is complete. Looking forward to the new model!
I know there are a couple Tiger CX owner on this forum since they are able to get where truck campers can go, unlike most other Class C, this is why I posted here.
On top of a new model, Bengal Tiger, the........w England, Mendon, MA, at East Acres RV.

Tell me again why this is like a truck camper that slides into a truck bed?
It's a class C, pure and simple...
Do you sell them?

Sleepy, he's saying 'it can get where truck campers can go, unlike most other Class C.' I don't think he's calling it a truck camper, he's just comparing it to the versatility of a truck camper. That's why it's posted here.
At least that's my opinion. Maybe I'm reading it wrong.

Gbobb has it. I know its not a truck camper, but has the same versatility as one.

I like the Tiger but my height prohibits thinking about owning one. The new model sounds like a great idea and I wish them well with it.
I would be really cool if they offer an extended cabover version with a north-south bed giving a lot more interior room and more suited to today’s super and crew cabs.

Tigers are very neat rigs. They have all the TC capabilities except being able to off load the camper part.
Member Tiger4X4 posts here a lot and has really good trip reports. Haven't seen him lately. Can't believe he's holed up for the winter!!!!

I saw the new one at Provan Tuesday... for the taller folks, or the ones who've complained that the overcab bunk is too low, it's the answer. The aluminum sidewall and end structure is extended up about 4", and the roof molding is new. The forward part of the roof molding looks like a regular CX, but doesn't have the step-down over the coach door. It just continues back at bunk height. It has 6'4" height pretty much all thru it. The floor plan is pretty much standard CX, but the cabinets gain a bit of height, too.
And no, I don't have any financial interest in the company... just a dam' happy owner.

TL,
I like the Tiger CX as well. My problem is that I'd have to haul my trash and yard waste to the dump either inside the coach (not good) or in a trailer I'd tow behind it. The Tiger also wouldn't work as my daily driver and it plus the trailer won't fit in my garage.
I would, therefore, disagree that the Tiger CX is as "versatile" as a pickup truck plus a TC.
Once again, the Tiger CX along with the Earthroamer, and the Xplorer Xcursion are NICE units, which will go where a TC will go. BUT, they are all Class 'C' units and, therefore, One Trick Ponies.
