I will be travelling through the RGV in a couple of weeks and would like to get suncreens made up for my coach and awning. Anyone know of a reputable company that will make the on site?

Thanks

Not a direct answer to your question, but before you decide on a sunscreen, take a look at Prompt RV Sunscreen .

Great product, great service, easy installation without a ladder and no snaps drilled into your mh.

For awning screen, check out the vendors at the Don-Wes flea market. Also consider how much light you want to let through. I started with standard screen and traded for 90% because I wanted more shade.

Just find a park and ask, or better yet if your in a hurry call the park ahead of time and get the number. Some of these guys are pretty busy. I haven't been in the valley for three years, but as I watched these guys it appeared they did fine work. You have to remember these guys can't afford to do bad work. Snowbirds are real, sheall we say,got at getting the word out, good, bad, indifferent.

Hope this helps

We had screens made up last year by one of the many companies at DonWes. We can't remember the name but they were in the N.W. corner of DonWes - e.g. close to Victoria Rd. and the Expressway end. We actually took the M.H. there and they came to the parking lot and made templates. About a week later, they came to our park and did the installation. We have been happy with them - definitely go with the 90% shade type. They are easier to install that we anticipated. We found this company had good prices.

Go to the Don-Wes Flea Market when they are open on Wednesday (my choice), Saturday or Sunday and choose from several different vendors that will make whatever you want.

We used the the Shade Shack at Don Wes . They are snap on shades . They will come to your site , measure your windows , and come back in a few days with the finished product to install . We were very happy with the quality of the product and the service . Too bad we did not need them that much this year , but have used them more these last two weeks . They also provide a carrying case . We had 6 made for our fiver at the cost of $320.00 . See JC at the booth .Not a plug , just nice people to deal with.
