More about Chock Full o' Nuts

Two 50yo's hit the road with teens and a giant Poodle in tow. DH is retired, DW is an RN, DD15 is a Princess and DS13 is our Wonder Boy(he is also very mentally handicapped and autistic, but very sweet!) We have a DS21 who is too cool to camp. And then there's our dog, Minky. DH always wanted us to have our own get-away spot. And now we have a lake house/mountain cabin/ beach cottage ready to go at a moment's notice!

We were avid tenters for a long time, but you get to a certain age where you just don't like sleeping on the cold, cold ground. DS13 learned how to escape the tent one winter night and that was the end of the tent camping. We bought a (lockable) pop-up which we used & loved very much.

Things change, health becomes a concern--we needed something more useable and less troublesome to camp in. We bought our first little travel trailer, The Yickle House("little house"), and headed west for a Grand Adventure.

A bad day camping beats a good day at work ANY time! Let the good times ROLL!
