RE: Air dump question

They would not make a coach that way. It does not set metal to metal. It is made to squat.

RE: Best Vehicles For Dingy Towing

Depends on what you want. Their are numerous that you can pull. I have had d Ford Edge, Saturn and both were fine. I am now rigging a Toyota Yaris and I feel it will be perfect.

RE: Tire balancing powder in tires

Most people today want to use TPMS on their tires. If you use Powder, equal or anything else outside the norm you put in your tire you cannot use a TPMS.

Mine does the same think. Will freeze other things solid but Ice Creme is always on the softer side and my freezer is always way down in temp.

RE: Phaeton 330hp big enough engine for mountains?

I never understand why folks think they have to have so much power. Torque is what you want and I would guess that engine has 950 lb foot pounds or more which is way more than you will ever need.

I have a Monaco 40ft with a 330 and it's way more than enough even pulling a 4400 lb Toad.

RE: Cheap Tire Pressure Monitoring TPMS

Well no unit can alert you of a blow out. I have a Doran and it will do the Toad. I don't know what Doran you had but in my opinion it is the best on the market.

If all of you will notice that the original post as most who always rant are new post to this forum. You have no Idea as me the whole story. They joined to complain and thats all. They more than likely did something but still always take the new members with a grain of salt who join and some of there first post are to bash something.

RE: Roadmaster vs Blue Ox tow bars

Both are good, but RoadMaster does computer stress analysis on their systems, don't think Blue Ox does or at least if they do they don't advertise the fact.
I went with RoadMaster because of the extra crossmember and the fact that they were about 20 miles from home, now they're even less since the moved from Portland to Vancouver.
Blue ox does more testing than anyone. I have also heard that if you need something their service is outstanding.

RE: TPMS and cold weather?

Cold temperatures will fool a pressure gauge let alone a TPMS. Our Honda CRV factory system was displaying a fault when temperatures got below freezing, and the Doran Pressure Pro was reading quite low, to the point of 'alarming'. I made sure that all pressures, before travelling were at least even on each axle of the coach, and the same on the CRV. As we started heading south out of Alberta the increasing rolling temperatures became more normal. Now that we are in Yuma the pressures are about right. It is as much about having same pressures on an axle as it is the right pressure. I am considering increasing the Hydrogen from 78 percent to 100 percent as I understand that the pressures will be more stable, and some even profess a better ride.
A better ride!
