that is not all together true. that extra 4 feet is actually more like 6 and the 36 like 38. but the 4 more on the tail end is allot to swing, trust me. Rich
So, Richie_Rich if you had it to do over again, would you opt for a smaller unit than your 41? Rich

Okay it seems the cheapest place I can find local to Socal is Mathewsrvsales.com in Fresno. He was $1k less than the local dealer and very informative when we talked. I would recommend talking to him if you are in the market for this trailer (his name is Mike I think).

Now what about towing something this long, is it very difficult?

We just bought the 08 New Vision Sportster 41RLN for $52,500 at Terry Vaughn's in Houston. We were pulling a 30' TT. Hubby says this one pulls so much better and he doesn't even realize that it is 10' longer.

That's great you had better go out and do some shopping while he is dazed from the new purchase. And don't ride with him till he comes to his senses. There is a big difference between a 30' TT and a 41' 5er. My Escalade tows better than my 37'er because it is tri axle but I do know that the extra footage is there when turning. The additional 8,000 lbs is not noticeable with the new truck except for the fuel bills. I think this one is 42'6" with the pin box. I am also finding that some of the campgrounds that I could get into with the 37 won't work now. I do agree with Rich that there is a difference.

Our 41RLN is triple axle also. Yes, he knows it is back there and does realize that it doesn't turn like the other one did and he has to be alot more careful but he says it pulls so much better than our TT that he really doesn't notice the difference in length just pulling it.

We love the extra room we have now and I don't have to listen to him complain about having to clean his bike before we can even go for a ride as it stays in the garage when we aren't on it.

Knowing what you know now with regards to the size issues with campgrounds, if you had it to do over again, would you still move up from your 37 footer to your Escalade and/or do you wish your Escalade was shorter?

Thanks!

Rich,

We would have moved up anyway. We put everything we wanted into this one. It just takes a little more planning and a little extra care when turning.

Rich
to be honest with you, sometimes I would say yes. we both love the space and room of it, but man we do Allot of woods camping and it is a handful in tight courters. you know I have a 1969 Airstream 31 footer we are restoring and I can't wait to take it out. originally we were going to use it for camping and put one of those racks on the one ton to haul the quads.
