Hi
Thanks all for you input, we are safe and sound in WH Kino Bay. Yes the last 10 miles is not for the faint of heart but the view from our 5er is well worth the hour drive in. We are already booking for next year.

Glad the information I relayed was accurate and that you had a wonderful trip!

We drove the road hooked up but very very slowly and no problems. It IS worth the trip. It will become an annual favorite.

Hi Moisheh!
Thousands of miles south!
You must be near the gulf of Tehuantepec, or even near San Cristobal or Tapachula. I have friends a young couple with 8 year old son and five year old daughter that are eager to start a trip that will take them all the way to Antigua Guatemala.

Depending on your answer they may leave Monday if you believe that summer rains have not trashed the highways in southern Mexico. Have you heard anything about CA-1?

Thanks!

Mexbungalows:

This is an old thread that was bumped recently. I think I posted that in February. We are not in Mexico. And yes when I posted that we were around Oaxaca I think.
