Greetings;

Where I park (long term) - I have a king pin which is too high off the ground to properly set the tripod legs far enough apart to give any front end support. I have the old type kingpin tripod w/o a screw extention. Is there a strong reliable way to set up some temporary extension to each leg to increase their length until I can purchase a newer (better) model stabilzer?? In about one month, or so

Any suggestions, advice and recommendatiions are welcome! Thankx

My old one had holes higher up the legs for the cross braces that atatched to the chain. Which made the legs not spread out so far and thus making the tripod taller, I hope this makes sense. If it does not have holes higher up on the legs maybe you could drill them.

8" cinder blocks would be my vote.

Why do you need the king pin support when you are storing it?
I thought the support eliminated annoying movements but wouldn't really take that much load off the front jacks. I would be more concern with the support being stolen.

Throw it away and install JT Strong arm stabilizers. Better and not having to carry the heavy legs on what you are using. Chevman
