This weekend I made the change from a Weekend Warrior to a Raptor 3612DS. When the Onan 5500 is running a "clicking" sound can be heard from the meter. Every time the "tenths" digit turns over, it clicks. Kind of annoying.

Anyone have this? Is there a solution to do away with the sound?

I changed mine out to avoid that very problem! I installed a SenDEC hour meter, works great! It's silent and digital!

Do you have a web link to show which one you purchased and installed? How much and how easy to switch out?

Congratulations on the new Raptor, looked at the 3812 this weekend and was considering trading my 3712. Dealer wanted me to take too much of a hit though.

Anyways................This was asked about a month or two ago and I think changing to a digital (as previously mentioned) was they only way to do away with the clicking sound. I guess I've gotten used to the clicking sound because I really don't even notice it now.
