These are one of those "roundtoit" mods; when I get "around to it"
Picked up a pair of guards, took off the end cap moulding piece on the tub. Had cut off maybe an inch of the moulding for a flush finish.
Guards had self-stick tape on them. Just lined them up after the cut, reassembled the moulding & caulked around the edges. A pretty nice finish; keep the water inside the tub where the curtain doesn't quite cut it. See a couple of pics HERE
If it's all the same to you, I'm going camping!

Nice, where did you find that style splash guards? The only ones I have been able to find were to large for my shower area.

Actually, I found them at the local Aco Hardware store after trying a few others with no success.

I just picked two up at the local True Value HW. Unfortunately, my surround is cream colored and the splash guards are white. They look like they will fit perfectly, though, so it's back to the store to return them. I know they don't have them in cream as I got the only two they had. I have no doubt I'll find them somewhere else.

I need to snap a picture of what I did...
Depending on how 'level' you get when at full hookups...I agree SOMETHING is needed on these tubs...
Last summer when we were at Williamsburg Va, I got tired of each time the kids took a shower there was a huge puddle on the floor...trying to explain to them to make sure the curtain 'seals' against the wall didn't work...so rather than complaining all the time...I went to the Home Depot there and picked up a small white vinyl track and RTV'd it to the TOP ledge of the tub from end to end...I figured all that was needed was a SMALL lip to stop the water and divert it from running over the top of the tub and to the floor.
It is a similar concept to what you guys have done except it runs along the whole top outside edge of the tub rim closest to the toilet (in your photos).
It is amazing that something less than 1/2" thick is all that is needed to stop the floor floods!
I pull the TT out of the storage barn this weekend...I'll try and remember to snap a picture...I bought an 8' long piece and ended up using about 3.5' and gave the rest to a camping bud to mod his shower too! I think the cost was less than $5 for the piece of vinyl and I had the RTV...
At the time...I didn't know about this product here...but I'm in full agreement that something is needed...

You know, we've had the very same problem but only with one particular brand name of TT; Jayco JayFlight.
We've owned 2 JayFlights, 1 Starcraft, 1 Amerilite, 1 Palomino & 1 now defunct Golden Nugget (28 years ago).
We never had any tub problem with any of them except for the 2 JayFlights.
The first was an '04 JayFlight 27BH with the tub running the width of the TT. I corrected the problem similar to the way crappie_fisherman did.
Now we have an '08 JayFlight G2 23FB with the tub running parallel to the TT & have the same problem. I think I'll correct the same as I did with the '04.
And in both cases, the JayFlight was level.

This is what I was going to do. What department is this vinyl track in? What is it used for? I'm just not sure where to look for this once I get there.

I think it was (I'm guessing sorry) in the tub/surround area...but I really don't remember...
There is actual vinyl trim in the wood trim area too...I simply looked until I found some type of vinyl trim with a thick enough profile when laid flat to provide a small lip. I suspected that I wouldn't need much more than 1/2" thick lip...and so far I have been right...I figured just a little resistance to divert the water was all that was needed...
I'll snap a quick picture on Saturday...if I have time, I'll run past the Home Depot to see where they have it too.
I do remember that there were a few options in a couple of different aisles...I picked what I thought would be the best match and least intrusive...meaning lowest profile...like I said...you don't need too much height to actually divert it...well unless the TT is WAY off level!
I am sorry I'm not much help in remembering...we were in the middle of the vacation and I was doing this shopping while DW was in the food store!

I actually used white vinyl quarter round that I found at Home Depot. I glued it to the top of the tub (the area that you would step over to go into the tub), let it dry & then applied cauking on both sides as well as the ends of the quarter round.
It was inexpensive & worked like a charm.
My next challenge is to find it in almond since that is the color of the tub/shower in our new Jayco JayFlight G2.
