I was think about buying a Holland electric grill and was wondering if anyone uses an electric grill? The pros and cons of electric. I thought not dealing with charcoal or gas would be nice.

At the risk of being called a grilling heathen, I use an electric grill, and love it (or did love it until it died ).
I've used Meco grills- quite a bit cheaper than that Holland, but then again I just fried my second one, so...
Electric doesn't get as hot as gas (or charcoal), but it is so convenient that I tend to grill pretty much everything .

I use one, have used charcoal, propane, and electric. pros, just plug it in. wind won't blow it out, no charcoal mess, etc.
I surely wouldn't pay $250 for any grill, even nuclear.
I would not buy any expensive grill unless I could easily/cheaply get replacement grates for it.

Keep in mind that electric grills require a lot of amps to operate. Might blow a circuit breaker if the grill and other high amp utilities are in use, i.e., microwave, toaster, etc.
Judicious use helps minimize this problem. At most camp sites, in addition to the 30/50 amp plug-in, there is usually another 20amp plug-in. I often use this one for the electric grill and do my grilling outside.
