I was just wondering if any of the oil refined in America to produce Gasoline is then sent to other countries. I know other countries pay more per gallon than we do and it would be very entiseing for the oil company's to do that. In these times this should never happen. If someone knows please responde. Come on Denny don't give them any ideas. What's the price of gas in Oneida? Here in the Buffalo area it's $3.79. Oh yeah, gonna be expensive.!!!

Washington State has a refinery in Anacortes, Wa. Most of the gas they refine goes to the east coast...go figure that one ???

I might be wrong but I think that the price difference from one country to another is due mostly to differing tax rates. The oil companies get world market prices for their oil and the various levels of government add on taxes which account for the price differences.

Yes.... It is: US oil companies import ethnol from Brazil, add a "Splash" of dino oil to the ship's hold and Dash it off overseas

It's called "Splash and Dash" and there are folks who are attempting to stop it

I happen to support their efforts

I suspect a lot more is being shipped over there too, and not just to the military

I agree, for example, Albertans (who have oil supplies of their own) pay more for gas at the pumps then do Americans because of provincial retail taxes on gasoline.

I've said it many times. Exxon-Mobile, Shell, BP, etc. are not charities. They are business entities that exist for the sole purpose of making a profit. If they can ship their product to other countries and reap a bigger reward, they will do it.

So many think in terms of our borders. Wake up folks, there's a great big world out there full of people that want a piece of the pie. Many say that demand is falling. That may be true here in the good ole USA, but we're not the only ones demanding.
