Somewhere along the way, I wrote in my notes that my 2005 8.1L Kodiak uses either of these air filters:
AC Delco = A1518C
GM = 25313349
I have not confirmed these numbers, however.

That delco filter is a square flat filter. My 08 takes a round tube shaped huge filter. Not sure if they changed it since 05 but if not that filter number is not correct.

The filter for a the Kodiak is a large round filter. 7.5" diameter X 17" long. Number I took off box the Delco filter came in are, GM# 88937527 and Delco# A2032C. These are the same numbers for 2003 to 2008 model Kodiak diesel or gas engines. The Wix number above is the replacement for the GM part.
