I recently put the electric brake module on my wifes GMC yukon. After adjusting the stopping slide so that it stopped smoothly, I noticed whenever I let off the brake, I get a little jerk as the brakes on the rv let loose. Is this normal?? I don't recall this when I pulled it when my gmc P/U. Thanks for any input.

You need to ease off on the trailer brake setting just a hair.

What is the make and model of the brake controller?
If you have a time-based system (and it sounds like you do), there is no way to make it smooth unless it is set so low that the truck does most of the braking...and that isn't prudent. The time-based systems have two controls. One sets the maximum braking level. The other sets how fast the braking effort increases while the brake light circuit is energized. These release with a jerk as soon as the brake light circuit is de-energized.
Proportional trailer brake controllers are so much better....

All men over age 50 should get an annual PSA blood test. Mine had a low reading, but the yearly jump was significant. The biopsy showed cancer just entering the aggressive stage. Dr. Hackenslash removed it.

Most controllers have a setting that is "more aggressive"/ "less aggressive". Sounds like yours should be set a little less aggressive. It's covered in the setup instructions for your controller.
