I have never been successful in using it in either Washington or Oregon at any state park..Tried it at a couple of private parks and was told sure thing, most of our campers have them and we'd lose too much money if we honored them..

Never hurts to ask. I got a 50% discount at a private casino RV park, and got in free at a private tourist attraction. I keep all my cards (Good Sam, Golden Access, DVA, AARP, etc.,) in a folder, and at check in, I show all the cards and ask if any apply. Been pleasantly surprised a time or three.

Last year the host at Reelfoot Lake State Park in TN asked me if I had one, then gave me a discount. I don't know if all TN State Parks honor the pass or not.

Thanks to everyone for the responses.
When I made this OP I was in Oregon, I am now in Washington, I have since found out that neither OR. or WA. state parks honor either GA federal pass. Although as most states do, they have discount programs for their state seniors or disabled residents.
I'm Fulltiming and camping costs can really add up so I'll stick to the federal lands as much as possible. Although fuel prices can make camping fees seem like a bargain...lol

I was once told that State Parks that get any Fed funding for anything have to accept them. Other than that I think it is up to them.

California State parks don't accept the Golden age/Passport cards, but there are some regional water district recreational areas in the National Forests that do accept them, the State Parks do give a $2.00 discount for seniors (62+), there are some BLM campgrounds that the cards are good for but are mostly undeveloped.
