sleepy - My guess is that you beat most of them to the dream. I often have people wanting to see the inside of my TC. They are truly amazed, especially when I tell them mine is an old 1988 TC, obviously without slides, and modern day amenities.

Congrats on the 50th HS anniversary, that's really rare. You are not far from an excellent Lance dealer at Falling Waters, WV. and not too far from us on Assateague Island, MD. If you hav'nt been here it's worth a look see, we're camped in the State Park until tomorrow, then we'll be boondocking in the bullpen ten miles over sand on the beach for the 4th holiday. If you do not wish to try the sand deal, during the week the Federal Park usually has a cancellation or two at half price for Golden Access, $15.00 I think. The weather could not be nicer, breezy with low 70's.

Skipbee... you have to be kidding....
I would never pay to park in a campground... at any price.
That is the magic of what we do... it has all been boondocking... not just ocassional dry camping.

Its funny... we did stay at WaMarts a lot during our first 300 nights or so... it was an easy way to get comfortable with avoiding the rv parking lots... now we don't do the Walmarts very often either. (last year we did 2 1/2 months in CA... only went in 5 WalMarts total.)
Boondocking is a confidence test... we never think about it... it is now a way of life. There are good spots everywhere.

Sleepy,
I sent you that info on paying back your SS at 70 and then refiguring your new pay-out from SS based on your age at 70 for you and your DW.
Keep us informed about your travels.
I will be coming to East Tn for some Trout fishing with my new Trout Magnet.
Whoever has a lot of stuff,of that one much will be expected in doing for others.

If you park in my driveway... you know where the 30 amp recepticle is located. The water is on. DON"T hit the Prius please.
You'll be 18 miles from the hole that had the state record 28 pound Brown Trout!
We'll be home.... someday.

Sleepy,
I was not kidding, simply inviting you to join us in a very unique spot on a barrier island on the Atlantic coast. We are surrounded by wild life, a large herd of wild ponies, sitka deer, whitetails, bald eagles, innumerable shore birds. We have traveled from the Keys to Alaska and find this to be most unique. With a dually you would not be able to travel on the beach. I have an extra beach buggy. But your zeal, mission, dedication to purpose, may keep you from enjoying this lovely space. Sorry I did not mean to insult.
Love to all,

Thanks for the offer Skip... there was no insult. You can park in my driveway anytime.
After a couple of years touring the west the east is too crowded. I'm afraid we are spoiled forever.
We have covered all of the eastern coasts over the last half century. And the western coasts over the last few years.
When we talk about favorite spots they are almost always in the mountains.... west and East.
Best single spot in the lower 48 (our agreed opinion).... Crater Lake, OR.
Yosemite is hard to beat for multiple points of interest.
Everyone has their own opinions.... that is what makes TC travel so special... we can go anywhere we want.

I was in Yosemite many years ago, it was the most fabulous valley I have ever seen. Do they still do the fire fall from half dome in the evening? I hope to take Linda next spring as we head to Alaska again. Do you have any tips for boondocking at Yosemite ? We are also devotees of the that fine art, now adopting the creed,"It's better to beg forgiviness and to ask permission!" We still have to Utah Parks to do also Life is good!
Love to all,
skip & Linda
