Yes, I got a free year. It took about 4 weeks for the material to arrive in the mail.

The Owner's Manual says that the roadside assistance is only during the "base warranty period". According to the Warranty Manual, that is 2 years, not 3 years. At least that's what it was for the 2005 chassis.

You might want to check on towing restrictions with Ford or Chevy roadside assistance. I believe Ford's limit is a 35 mile tow.
I had Coachnet free for the first year and didn't have to use it. I thought about renewing, but checked with my insurance company. They cover towing up to a "reasonalbe distance", which means you have it towed to the nearest qualified repair facility, not all the way home. My policy also covers flat tire change, lockout, and fuel delivery.
Extra services provided by Coachnet and other roadside assistance plans include trip planning, over the phone tech advice, etc. Since I don't think I would use those services I didn't think the extra cost was worth it.
I have heard good things about Coachnet however.
