Many may know about this, but my brother who is network engineer told me about it and he uses it a lot. It's double sided Velcro. This stuff is expensive in stores especially if you buy an considerable amount!

I ordered a roll of 25 yards, yes yards delivered for less then $25. I've used the heck out of it and still have half the roll left. I use it to tie my water hoses together while traveling, bundle tv coax cable, and you name it. Now firedude's desk has a LOT of computer stuff on it like routers and many other things lol. This stuff really keeps everything in "order" and organized. You go to any hardware store and pay about $6 for like 6 small strips that lock! This stuff you just simply cut it to the length desired and put the roll away until you need it again. It comes in different widths and I went with the 3/4" stuff. Just thought it was pretty cool and handy stuff and inexpensive to boot!

I've been using it for years on the awning arms to wrap them closed.

Well there's another use to ad to the long list. For my awnings though I use a thick plastic 3/4" wide removable tie strap with a tensile strength of a couple hundred pounds each. I wonder what the strength rating is on this stuff?
No adhesive or any of that gunk with the double sided stuff. I've used it for a long time., but never knew it was so cheap in bulk! No telling how much I spent the stuff before my bro sent me the link.
One other use I found for it was hanging my telescoping washing poles on the wall in my basement. I just cut enough to wrap tight around the poles and put a screw thru the middle of the strip into the plywood wall and boy it woerks liek a charm and keeps them poles out of the way. Just too many uses to mention...

Not trying to bash the OP, but, I use these here and the price of this works out to be $0.43 per yard.

You can also find it in fabric stores like Joanne Fabrics sometimes in the dollar bins. It comes in white, black and tan - - not in rolls, but in long strands. Wal-Mart probably has it, as well, in their craft/fabric department.

Great stuff, I bought mine some years ago at a flea market. I use it to secure the extra strap length when using tie downs on my motorcycle.
I also use it to secure the idiot proof, government mandated safety lever on my lawn mower. Like the saying goes, just when you think something is "idiot proof" the idiots get more creative. What a minute, did I just call myself an idiot?

Those are good too. I used them before. I just like the bulk stuff because you can cut it to length. Those type above seems they were never long enough for me. Nearly 75' of it for less than $25 goes a LONG ways. It's nice to be able to cut to length. Those in the pack were never long enough to do my water hose rolls and things like that without doubling them up. They're great for small projects. The black also seem to fit in and go anywhere. LOL why on earth would anyone think you were bashing me?? The more ideas the better we are. My way may not be best, just passing on a tip that really paid off for me. It's all good.
when I fist saw this stuff I checked Walmart, no go and most fabric stores didn't have much of it , bit could order it for me for about 2.5 times what Ipaid for the roll. The problem with scraps was they were either too short of there was not enough ect. I use a LOT of this struff lol.
