Funny....I was over on the Disboard (Disney FW) and some of those folks are right down rabid over pets. I pointed out that it might be beneficial to have your eyes focused on the ground (looking for dog poop) while walking so to see any possible snakes, gators, etc. They didn't think that was too funny. The mention of snakes started a whole new thread. If you even think about walking your pet outside of a designated "pet loop" you might get screamed at or worse.

I know some might want to pull out their gun to solve the poop problem, but using one in a campground will definintely get the user in deep!

Happy, now?

Considering the price of fuel, I'd have to say that if you are an RVer - - You just might be an Idiot.

If dogs were all on leashes I'd be much happier. One camper's dogs were recently found wandering 1/2 mile from there site - the park ranger returned them with a warning. Did they learn? No, their dogs were found at least 2 more times wandering the campground. Unfortunately, campers know the Rangers won't give tickets for any of this stuff just more warnings.

We just let our little dog out in the morning and he scratches at the door when he wants back in.

He feels he is being punished when we put him on a leash.

I was confused at first, but I think I get it now. Thats why I support the "no pet" policy in campgrounds nationwide. Leave 'em at home!!

I agree. Pets should always be left at home - NOT at CG sites. If wondering, my family has pets. At times, one could put "local zoo" sign on our home's front door. Today, I still don't know why my wife wants so many different pets. To me, all pets need to stay "at home". Period!!!! When these pets die, that's it. NO MORE!!!!

And if wondering, I'd get rid of the dog before I puck up after it. Thus, explains why she walks that thing. If the dog doesn't pick up after me, then why am I forced to pickup after that dog. Get rid of the dog and problem solved.

So yes, the dogs, cats, birds, fish, rabbits, etc. etc. all stay at home. Period!!!!

Be careful when you open you door to scratching in the the morning in Alaska. It may be a Grizzly wanting you to send out another tasty snack.
