Not too short in my book, the re4frig is always on and it only takes a few minutes to hook up the 5er to the truck. Always have clothes in the 5er, the meds stay in a zipper bag I call the drugstore. We could leave in a hour or so.

I like advance notice for something like a weeks trip, further from home, but a couple days only 30 miles from home, silly.
Besides anytime we make long range plans something happens to mess it up and we have to cancel.

I could probably be ready in a few hours, but think I'd like at least 24 to pack up or go to the store. Especially if we are only going a few miles away. DH hates to take the TT into parking lots!

Not only have we decided to leave on a whim after work on a Friday, but we've left with no destination in mind. Just drive until someplace catches our attention, or we get tired and pull over somewhere. We've done a Friday night in a Walmart, then a State Park Saturday, a different State Park Sunday night, and dropped DW at work on the way home Monday morning.

Next time he tries to put the moves on you in the bedroom tell him that it is too "Short Notice" and he will have to let you know sooner next time...

Not too short notice for me. TT is generally 99% packed. Just need food.
You only live once - get out there and live it!

Tried to talk husband into going up the canyon we like to camp at and go camping this weekend, but he told me it was short notice. Huh!
All we need to do is add water to tt, food, and clothes and go. How hard is that? It is to hot to stay home.
I really cannot answer that question. Instead of asking on here, maybe you should talk to your husband.
Communication is a key part of any relationship.
I did, and it really wasn't a question that was looking for relationship advice. We communicate just fine.
I figured that since most of us love to go camping that a day or two notice would be something you all would understand, and not get it either. My bad.
Believe me I do understand. A 2 hour notice would be fine for me, but then I am not your husband. It still seems to me that you are trying to use us as a sounding board to reinforce the idea and convince yourself that you are right, and your husband is wrong.
I repeat, talk to your husband.
Have a good day.
Sincerely,
ventrman
God Bless!
