So looks like I may get this one for $10,000CDN
Any input?
The dealer so far has had to do the brakes, replace the steering box, do an alignment and I want the A/C done, it is not cool enough as far as I am concerned.
I need to find out how to find what all is in it, such as diffs, ratio and transfer case and such, I gather it must be a part time 4X4 as there is a shifter but no locking of hubs that I saw.
it is an auto, so have to figure which one, it is at a Ford dealer.

It's a nice looking truck. Only thing I see is it's missing the Cummins DIESEL...

actually in canada, that's not a bad price for year and mileage.
seems like we pay more for used still, cause our new trucks are still sold at silly prices...
For example, full load 3500 Chev dually with the duramax diesel will sticker on a lot in sask canada at $70,000.00. lol.
I payed about $29K for a full load lariat 2004 F350 crew fx4 dually with 85,000 KM (~50,000.00) miles and it was about best deal to be found in my area.
You might be a dog show roady if Y'all have to buy a 40 ft toy hauler just so the dogs can have a private room (Garage)

First, whether talking Canadian dollars or US dollars is almost insignificant. Based on today's (7/10/08) exchange rate, $13,994 Canadian = $13,841 US. Literally no difference.
Second, NADA gives this truck, based on the info provided (and yes, I converted KM to miles), a CLEAN RETAIL value of $10,300. Based on the current market, my opinion is that this is probably a $9,000 truck at best, and that's if it's ready to go in all respects. Big gasoline engine trucks are dead now, and should be bought well below market.

Good truck, but a lot of money for the year and mileage. Very much like my former Dodge. Dependable gasoline engine with a insatiable thirst for fuel. Gulp, gulp, gulp. Front brakes a headached until I change out the Mopar parts for high end Napa stuff. Tranny seemed to loose it's programming if the truck sat longer than a week. Capable of carrying an immense load, I have over 3,000lbs of pea gravel in that bed on several occasions. Pretty comfortable ride. I hated that latch that the suicide back doors latched to when closing. I banged my head couple of times on it. Dang hurt. Dodge used permantly locked front hubs(idea from aquitition of Jeep design) but still have shift lever, no hub lockout. Take it for a long drive, shut it off, open the engine hood and sniff for the tell tale smell of hot antifreeze. Seems there is a problem with pourous intakes or blocks. Mine had it, dealer poured in some Mopar sealer into the radiator. Seems to have cured the problem, I sold my truck soon after.

I agree with this.
I wouldn't offer more than $9,000 for this truck at the present time.
