I had the best cole slaw with a brisket sandwich at the San Francisco location. It was mayo/sweet in flavor, not too vinegary, and it had dried cranberries in it. Rough chopped slaw, not finely grated. I googled it but no recipes have the cranberries.
So my guess is mayo, sugar, just a tad of white vinegar, the usual cabbage and carrots, plus the cranberries.
Anybody had their slaw??

Paula Deen made a sweet slaw with dried cranberries in it that my wife makes sometimes and people always love it. Check food network for the recipe.

I make a sweet chicken salad with dried cranberries. I put honey in the mayo and I soak the cranberries in a small amount of pineapple juice before adding them. Then I add the juice too.

Scrapz - do you have a more definitive recipe? Even though I am a TX girl I am not a great (or even good) cook and need specific directions. I love chicken salad! These recipes sound so good on these hot summer days - and thanks Chuckcjax - I will look it up!

Here's a link to the recipe. It does not have the cranberries in it, though. Maybe just throw some in and see if it is the same?? It's a try at least.

I don't have a recipe. I was trying to copy the Sonoma Chicken Salad from Costco.

Cooked chicken, maybe 3-4 breasts
Dried cranberries
chopped celery
pecans

Soak a package of cranberries in about 1/2 cup of pineapple juice for a few hours to make them more tender. Then make a dressing from mayo, honey, and poppy seeds. Mix all ingredients, including the juice from the cranberries. It's even better the next day.

Here's a Cranberry Cabbage Slaw recipe that is delicious. Suppose to serve 10 but DH and I can eat the whole recipe. To Boot this recipe is low fat.

Cranberry-Walnut Cabbage Slaw
Serves 10

1/4 cup reduced fat mayonnaise or salad dessing
1 tabl. sweet pickle relish
1 tabl. honey mustard
1 tabl. honey
1/4 tsp. ground white or black pepper
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp celery seed

Mix the above together in a small bowl.

In a large bowl combine:

5 cups shredded green cabbbage
1/3 cup toasted walnuts (microwave 2 - 3 min., stirring often)
1/4 cup thinly chopped celery
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped

Mix vegetables in a large bowl. Add mayo. mixture and toss to coat. Cover and chill for at least 1 hours. Before serving toss again.

1/2 cup serving equals: 64 calories, 3g fat, 2.6g fiber, 8g carbs
