to Calgary, nice location, not too far, just want to
try out the new Rockwood Roo for a couple of nights.
Any suggestions? We usually go to Gull Lake but that's a hike...
thanks

If you don't need hookups and just to try the new Rv, you could try Rosebud about 80km NE of Calgary or Bow Valley if you want to go west, Wyndom Carseland or Chain Lakes are also within reasonable driving from Calgary.

If you do not want hookups, Fallen Timber Rec Area (Provincial) 15 miles WNW of Cremona. Watch for the sign on Hwy 22 to turn west about 2.5 miles N. of Cremona. It is about an hours drive from city limits.

If you want hookups and closer to Calgary, try a campground in Cochrane or another just 6 miles North of Cochrane on Hwy 22.
