32% off is dealer cost.
At that price they break even.
Lots of dealers will lose money to free up some cash on older units that are sitting around and have already been paid for.

These are very heavy trailers you are going to be close to GVWR when you load it up with everything you need for camping.

dwrat,

It is a two axle. Please educate me why a three axle is needed on this coach.

Re: Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR)
Pertaining to WW Model FSC2800

To Whom It May Concern:

I would like to talk to you about trailer gross vehicle weight ratings (GVWR) and specifically about the rating on the FSC 2800 tandem axle model having minimal cargo capacity.

Unfortunantely, this is the perfect case of the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing. When we weigh the actual trailer and add in the opyions minus GVWR, we get the cargo capacity. The right hand (me) is setting the amount of GVWR and the left hand is doing the calculations on the stickers. I'm sorry I did not catch this sooner. I do know that more and more of the trailers are loaded with every option possible. Consenquently, that has dipped too far into our cargo capacity. If I had noticed this problem sooner, I would have the solution already.

There are several possible remedies to this issue.I am trying desperately not to jump out of the frying and into the fire. This was my mistake in not watching this closer.

At this point, I'm not ready to give the solution to this problem. However, I am doing the research now as you are reading this. Please allow me a week or so to accomplish this (i.e., cost, aesthetics, function, availabilty, etc.)

I will be in touch with both a note here on this website and we will notify all the FSC2800 customers as soon as possible.

Sincerly,

WEEKEND WARRIOR TRAILERS, INC.

That pretty much sumed it up. Thanks for the education. Once you graduate to a 3 axle tongue pull, should you really be looking at a 5th wheel? I have also heard that you go through tires like crazy with 3 axles. What is your experience with this?

Can't answer the tire question but in CA. you will also need a Non Commercial Class A drivers License to be legal pulling any tag trailer with a GVWR of 10k or more. The Dealers won't tell you that.

I just sold a 32 foot 3 axle pull that pulled fairly well and got a 33 foot 3 axle fifth wheel and I will never own a big pull trailer again, never.
As for the tire wear, I never noticed anything at all.

I thought he asked about a Rage'n.

My FSC2800 is a 2 axle. Came with E-rated tires, pulls great, No problems with carrying capacity.

That is interesting about the license requirement. Of course they leave that out. I am beginning to really dislike/trust the rv industry. They are never upfront with anything. When I was looking at the ragen I waited until after a good hour of being pressured by the sales guy to bring up the fact that I knew WW was out of business. You should have seen his face. He was not going to tell me squat.

I have a short bed pick up and have benn told I really do not want the hassle of the slider hitch and the possibility of the trailer hitting the cab of my truck. That is why I am looking at the 28 & 29 foot pull trailers. They have great floor plans and have enough cargo room.
