They are just colored like red, yellow, white, brown, blue etc...Do i just go by the colors? The honeywell has a bus bar in the back where you connect everything and its marked W,Y,G,O,Rc,R,B etc..Should i put blue with B, Yellow with Y, White with W etc...? what goes with the Rc one? or R one?

i did the hunter install and added the extra fan switch. in reality i probably didn't have to though. it works with the AC and manual fan only and don't think i have ever used it on low except to check my install. if you really feel the need for one, check out the hunter install and you'll probably be able to figure it out from there

OK help me out here and we will get you wired up.

A thermostat is only a switch that routes power back to the unit.

Is the stat to be used for heat only?
If yes then all you need to hook up is:

Red to R/RH (this is the power to the stat that will be routed back to the unit for heat or cooling) and must be hooked up. If the RH and RC are jumpered together at the stat (they should be) then hook it to either the RH or RC it wont matter.

White to W (this is your power back to unit for heat)

Green to G (is if your unit will let you power the fan only for circulation)

Yellow to Y (this is power back for cooling if wired in and not manual on ceiling) If AC is unit not tied to stat no need to hook Y up.

The way a stat is wired is:
R/RH=Red heat
RC=Red cooling
The RH/RC are generally jumpered together at the stat, as seperate cooling and heating through the same stat is a commercial way of doing things with two tranformers, but does not apply to residential style controls.
W=White takes the power back for heat.
G=Green takes the power back for fan.
O=Orange reversing valve and is for heat pumps.
Br=Brown and again is used for heat pumps/usually strip heat.
Y/Y1=Yellow and is used for first stage cooling.
Y2=typically Blue is second stage cooling.
C=Common, is designed to be used with a 24volt AC, not what a trailer will provide so dont hook it up and just power the stat off of the two batteries that you installed.

Now you say that you have NOT hooked up the R-Red yet so you have not blown the fuse, rewire it so the:
R-Red
W-White
and nothing else if it is for the heater only and you will be set.
If your system allows the Air conditioning to work through the stat then also hook the:
Y-Yellow
G-Green as well
and DO NOT HOOK ANYTHING ELSE UP.

Two other thing I would like to ad, I don't have the time to look up your thermostat that you bought, but it sounds as if it is setup for heat pump as well, Make sure that you have it setup as single stage heat and not heat pump or dual stage heat if it even offers the dual stage, then also make sure (there should be a switch on the back) that it is setup for gas and not electric heat, if you have it set in the electric mode the heat anticipator will not work correctly and the furnace will act as if something is wrong.

Hope this has helped.
