We're leaving for Topsail Hill on Saturday, this will be our second visit there. We will be traveling from Orlando and need a halfway stopping point. Last time when we went (about a year 1/2 ago) we stopped in Gainesville to visit my parents but it was a long haul from Gainesville to Topsail so this time we want to stop half way. I'm thinking Live Oak or somewhere west of there? I do remember seeing a few campgrounds right off I-10 but can't remember exactly what cities they were in. I guess Walmart is always an option if it's in a decent area. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Just off of I10 in Tallahassee is Tallahassee RV Park. It is on highway 90E. A pretty nice park and probably a little more than 1/2 way.

Suwannee Valley Campground is very nice, it is near the intersection of I10 and I75

That might to too far from Topsail for you, it's about an hour from Gainesville.
