I have always had problems with the landing gear on my trailer. I do not want to go in to the problems I have had. I would just like to know if any one here has used the hydraulic landing gear / leveling jacks made by HWH on their TH?? If so how do you like it??

We have HWH all the way around, we are over 20,000.00 lbs.
In November we will have owned our coach for 2 years. To this date we have had no problems at all.
Now you have me worried.
Would you please reconsider, and let us all know the problems you have had so that we may be prepared.
I would for sure do the same for you. I care about your safty, and also hvaing problems on the road can be a real heart breaker.
Thank you for any Heads Up that you can give us.

Let me start at the beginning. I do not have the HWH landing gear on my trailer now. I am considering going to HWH because of the problems I am having with the stock electric motor type landing gear made by Atwood I think.
The problem has been ongoing ever since we bought our Weekend Warrior in April of 06. Here is a link to my first post about the landing gear problem. Link
Sorry for the confusion

A OK !!!
You had me worried, I guess I miss read your post to.
I have never had any trouble with the HWH system. I can take the control box out side with me and just push a button and watch the jacks work.
Check this out, it will lift our entire 20,000.00 plus pounds, 8 tires and wheels totaly off the ground........

WOW! I'm convinced.
I called HWH this morning. They said I should be able to install it my self. I am not going to go with the leveling system just the landing gear.
Thanks!

Thanks

Just for the landing gear I was quoted $1925. This is not installed. HWH has a program that you enter your trailers specs and what jacks you want and it will give you a price. Here is a link to the web page.

If I may ask what problem did you have??

KF6PLH -
thanks for information.
My first issue was with driver side jack - stripped gear. Now the other side is giving me trouble. I was able to use bottle jack to get trailer on TV to get home but I've not had time to tear down passenger. I have to cut into generator box to gain access. I bet it's another stripped gear or shear pin. Both are an easy fixes once you have jack off of 5th wheel. However, very frustrating when you're camping. My 5th is a 2007 Keystone Fuzion - used about 12 times.
Thanks
