I retired after 30 years as a cop, and the key word is retired. I wouldn't be a security guard now days for anything. But that said, try a campground with out the word "campground" in it! Something with "Resort" in the name would be likely to have a security guy for patrolling and adding to the "we're too high class and snooty to allow people like YOU in here" attitude! Timeshare, exclusive and expensive resorts. You could sell your experience and time in the department as an asset to their business. Best of luck and congratulation on making it to your well deserved retirement!

In the security business about the only place you'll find retired LEO's is in an armed position. Although some will take unarmed positions it's usually in desperation.
I've never seen an armed position in an RV park although there are a few trailer parks and apartment complexes that use armed officers.
We do have some retired LEO's in the Tactical Security business but the pay is as good or better than a regular armed position and "hands-on" occurs less often.

Many KOA's have workamping security positions. I almost took one in Astoria. Kick myself sometimes lol.
Here ya go. It's a start. The one in Astoria offered full site plus $1100 per month for a 40 hour week I believe it was.
